Car Seat for 3 Kids

Has anyone tried or used a triple car seat kit for the rear seat instead of buying a new car? I’d rather keep using the wrangler for the family vehicle than getting a suburban in 9 months 😉

congrats! and that 3-seater looks well made. is it available in the US?

This company claims their car seats fit 3 across. We looked into them when we had our first. Never found one to look at in person so we didn't end up going that route.

I have a diono and 3 kids, have yet to try and put all 3 in the jeep yet though. Now that all 3 forward facing it’ll be easier. But the Diono is pretty good once they get to 2 I think

Thanks! Definitely a good option by the looks of it 👍

Luckily Harrison will be 2 in December and Hazel will be 4 once our 3rd will be here.

Thank you! You sound like my wife right about now lol

She is currently looking for a new family vehicle
Toyota Sequoia 4x4, had over 300,000 miles on our 2005 before the ex had an accident and rolled it at 70mph (she survived with no injuries).

with the 3rd seat/space, plenty of room for dogs and the way too much baby stuff we hauled when our daughter was a baby (y)

I’m trying to lean her towards a Tahoe or suburban with the 6.2 lol my parents still have the Tahoe I grew up in and learned to drive in with 300,000+ miles on it.

Congrats! We will be in a similar boat eventually. Not now though. Curious as to what you solutions you find. Hopefully by the time we are looking at having our second kid we will have a family car.

A Tahoe would be pretty good. Not to big but hasplenty of room for family trips and could still tow. Honestly this is the route my family would probably go as it gets bigger.

Thank you! All depends on finances when it comes time of course. As of now, if we can afford a new family vehicle that would be the best route. But if we can only get new car seats, we will deal with the limited space of the JKU with all 3 in the back.

I’d love something that can tow a decent sized camper for some family road trips, preferably something with a V8. I also don’t want to be too limited on space is the other thing, I always feel it’s better to have more than not enough.

It should be doable with the 4 year old in a booster seat. That might free up enough extra space.
