Building Bruce thread

I just found a set of 44's out of a rubicon with lockers and 4.56's for less then the shop here wanted to just do a gear swap, I'll know for sure tomorrow if I got them, if I did they'll be here in the next week or two.

Nice!!

So no go on the axles, there were already sold. Just changed the oil and diff oil with some royal purple, rotated my tires, retorqed my wheel spacers, and swapped out the stock shocks with some rancho 7000's.

Going to start the install of a 2.5" superlift tonight, added longer bump stops and jks quick discos as well.

Really good looking rig!! I Painted the headlight rings with Rustoleum Flat Black and made a huge difference with the lights (in my opinion)..

Overall I'm happy with the lift, there are a few items that they could have included in the kit, but it is really more of a budget kit, so for what it is, it works pretty good. The ride is good to me, we all know it is subjective to the individual so take it with a grain of salt. The jeep handles the same as with the levelling kit, no harshness, no noticeable bump steer . The springs feel a little softer then my old set up as well.

A few shots from my last few exploration trips around my area getting a better feel for the latest mods.
