Build of my JKU

Alright I am going to call DT later and place the order so here is what I have on my list.

PR60 Hardcore package, ARB, 5.38
KMC 229 wheels 17x8.5 3.5 backspacing
PSC Big Bore XD2 Hydro for Dana 60 I believe SK282
Evo Rockstar D60 mounts for rear coilovers
J8 master cylinder
A huge fucking hole in my pocket

Anything else I am missing? The wife's ok turned into WTF LOL!

So it looks like you wont be needing those rear shafts... [emoji51]

There in. Jeep back up and running until I get the 60s. Thats IF Dynatrac ever calls me back.

Everyone shit talks Northridge but when I was ready to pull the trigger on my PR44 prior to Moab, Dynatrac wouldn’t give me the time of day. Dynatrac said 10 weeks maybe but COVID this and that...
Northridge had the parts in stock, assembled in a couple weeks, and shipped to me for same price as DT, all while giving me updates along the way. Just saying....

Yeah, I had to make a few calls to them when I got my 44 as well. Hell even Dynatrac told me to go through NR4x4 when I was shopping for the PR44 due to tax. I told them I prefer to have them build it for me since they are only 40 minutes away from me. He knocked off a few hundred and I didn't have to pay for freight and that saved me about 700 bucks.

Since the V8 was mention do you think the price of the V8 conversion will drop once the 392 hits the ground?

Obviously a person like Bubba would have some input on that, but if I’m not mistaken he said that he doubts the cost of a V8 swap would change much since most of the cost is in labor.

After just getting done with a V8 my guess would be no . You could save a few $$$ by doing it yourself. I was going to go that rout but had no real way to remove the body etc . The cost of parts depends on new or used engine and trans package etc . I ended up spending way more than originally planned but in the end it was worth every penny.

Doesn't it cost more for California Compliance mods?
I believe Robbie at Motech has executive orders that are carb compliant no extra charge . I’m in AZ but mine would be legal in CA.
Good to know. I'm sure if I ever decided to go that route down the road there will be a lot of changes. Wife was good with 60s but said no new 392 or conversion jeep for at least 5 years.
