I bought my 2014 granite crystal metallic JKUR in January of 2016. Since then, I have had a great time making it mine. With that being said, I thought I would share some of the things I have done with pictures. Enjoy!



Here is my blank canvas.

I started with the basics: Debadging and the addition of my vinyl graphics.




I then changed out the RUBICON lettering with my own.

Next came the matte black grille. I was looking for a more aggressive look.

In coming from an E 350, I needed some lighting upgrades. So, I started with the headlights. I wired the halos to run with parking lights. They also flash amber when turning. The output of the LEDs are actually pretty impressive.

Next was my most drastic of upgrades... The custom leather interior. I wanted to carry out the black and red theme.


Sorry the picture quality is poor. It makes it look almost pink. Lol

LED tail lights. I don't LOVE these, but they are ok for now.

Vinyl matte black hood decal. I did this just to dress things up a bit.

I recently added the Yakima roof rack.

Last weekend, I started some performance upgrades. I installed the 77 series K&N intake.

New barricade bumper! I added the red D rings to fit the theme of my Buckeye build.

Where did you get the red d rings?

I had to add some side steps for the kids. At some point I would like to add something more aggressive but still functional as a step up.

Those came from Amazon. Rugged Ridge was the seller.
