Holy smokes! I feel for ya. Born & 1/2 raised just outside chicago. Spent many a frigid mornings shovelin for folks to get out. Dont remember 50 below ever!
Too cold for the kids to play around outside too :(

I remember either 92 or 93 temperature made it to something like 27 below windchill was 75 below for one day, but that whole week we didn't get above 10 below.. Thank god we won't have to deal with this next year...

Boys, Boys, Boys!! Two weeks ago at work we had -38 with the windchill. To make it worse, we were on graveyards and was forced to work a 16 hour shift on a JLG lift myself and a friend at work. Everyone else at the plant was tucked away in heated control rooms. Yah Wyoming SUCKS in the winter.

Working outside in it isn't fun, I miss it but I don't miss those days.

We just got done with a week of highs around zero and actual low temps around -20. Up a few hours more north but still in Maine actual low of -42

It's cold here. Supposed to be down to -25 tonight/ tomorrow. All public schools are closed tomorrow.

They closed Interstate 57 ,72, and 74 plus pretty much all of the state and county roads around me. I'm not gonna miss this weather!!!!
