Broken Rock Krawler Control Arm

Well this sux, I just bought a set of RK control arms. Thankfully I don't wheel hard.

I have RK control arms and I hope mine don't break, I guess they will warranty them but I like a warranties I have to use. I will say unless I miss them I don't see many failures on RK control arms am I wrong?

I wouldn't sweat it. It doesn't matter who makes, no product ever made has 100% total field reliability. Definitely sucks, but I'd imagine they'll warranty it.

Lets all look at the bright side. At least the frame side brackets didn't fail. All he has to do is replace the arm instead of cutting and rewelding shit brackets. :D

Are most aftermarket arms solid like this RK?

No, just Rock Krawler. It's part of their sales pitch - being that they're solid, they're supposed to be better.

That being said, the only other control arm I have seen fail like this (well, the joint anyway) is Metal Cloak.

:cheesy: You wouldn't know anything about that.

I'll see if I can find the post again, maybe the guy posted some insight as to how he broke it or if he was aware of the Crack
