Black grill

Well got a good start on painting the grill black! I'll finish it up tomorrow.

.....Hey, it's your Jeep.

Like the others here are getting at, it's probably best if you remove the grille. Removing it would take less time than applying all of that tape.

Might as well fill the radiator fins with bondo and paint it black for a smoooooooth finish

Yep that's legit. Before you jump off the cliff next time remember you joined a Jeep forum where those with tons of knowledge could actually throw a few tips your way that could be beneficial.

I did the prep work, yea was nice out so wasn't in any hurry.
But this morning I pulled the grill to finish it up!

That was just the primer, After painting it..... I hated the shine it had, So I let it cure for a couple of hours
I sprayed it with bed liner. like it this way! oh and lesson learned, remove grill to paint!!

I was thinking the same. Zoomed in though and saw some texture. I use a rattle can of Rustoleum bedliner on my flares and love it actually because it’s a very tame texture and looks like factory.

Looks good. Glad you took off the grill before you sprayed the bed liner… you’d be needing a new radiator and trans cooler for sure. Lol
