Black bear pass, co

I would like to know the outcome after this photo was taken. If you look about 4-5 feet in front. It seems the trail is no longer wide enough for him. Scary

No more photos after this one was taken probably because they found this camera at the bottom of the goddam cliff along side the Jeep!
Surprised they didn't name this road "Damn Now Where The Hell Did My Nuts Hide Road" when this photo was taken...

Lol yeah that sound about right after looking at the photo.

Here's a shot of the Black Bear switchbacks taken from nearby Imogene Pass. The building is an old power plant that back in the day produced enough power to light a couple of bulbs in Telluride. It's a private residence now. My wife and I watched the vid all the way and laughed 'til we cried. It's a gem.

What months are this road typically open?

Also, anyone seen this photo before? This supposedly is on Black Bear. Hands down, this guy has to be the craziest bastard on the planet.

I swear that was how wide the road was 34 years ago. All the local jeep trail tour places were telling my dad he was nuts trying to take a "full size" blazer down Black Bear. They were right. It was nuts. On the switchbacks it was crazy. No room, my parents couldn't open the doors because one side was air, the other side was rock. It is much wider now through the switchbacks.

Man, that's nuts! You don't happen to have any photos from back then do you? Love to see them.

Oh man, her commentary is great.

A buddy said one time he came up on an 80s model Suburban going down it. They made it but suffered some body damage because he was scraping the body against the rocks. His wife got out and walked down after they had a fight I guess. LOL.
