Birth of Phoenix

Hit the dunes this Memorial Day weekend in Moses Lake, WA. Plan on hitting the trails in Tahuya Monday. Hopefully I can find time to throw on my new parts in the garage. Damn that place looks packed! Still looks like it was a lot of fun. How far is it from where you are living now?

It's a little over 3 hours away. The lake meets up with the dunes so you can play in the water or pull your boat up and play on the beach. ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1464471584.292152.jpg

Just read through your build. Looks awesome! That Red Rock color and the chopped painted fenders look great! I had a feeling from the start that it was going to turn into your JK haha. Subscribed.

Dunes on Saturday and trails on Monday. Hit up the trails at Tahuya, WA. Great place to test out the jeep. Mostly mild trails. There's a few rock gardens that can be tricky. I had to give up on a hill climb. Ended up slipping off a rock and smashing my steering stabilizer and tie rod. I was really trying to break this Dana 30. I guess I wasn't trying hard enough. Put in some truck-lites and they are probably one of the better upgrades for the money that I've done. Huge difference. Also replaced my steering stabilizer and hit the trail today. I love the Pac NW. ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1465163177.325157.jpgImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1465163209.204377.jpg

Looks like a fun time both weekends. And I agree, truck lites are a great mod. :yup:

Finally had a chance to put my EVO skins on. It wasn't bad but it wasn't my favorite mod to do. So many holes, haha. Also working on putting my sliders on this weekend. ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1465619220.113734.jpgImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1465619253.033203.jpg

Same feeling when I put my poison brawler rockers on...never like drilling into your baby. measure twice, drill once. looks good man

Getting my sliders welded on. Can't wait to test them. I'll have to get some pictures in the light tomorrow. Very satisfied so far. ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1465874974.512707.jpg

Took the jeep out tonight after work. Found a rock garden I hadn't tried yet. Tested out the sliders and they worked great. I just need more skid plates and lockers. This Dana 30 is still holding up. Hopefully in the next month I can drop in this PR44. Finally got the chance to put this axle in. I would have finished today but I have to work tonight. I'm so excited to get the ball rolling on this. ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1467685260.930484.jpgImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1467685295.776712.jpgImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1467685312.685014.jpg

Finished up the install on my PR44. Also installed a Synergy draglink flip, tie rod and Adams Driveshaft. Can't wait to finish up the rear. ImageUploadedByWAYALIFE1467937828.463753.jpg

Nice rig, jealous of the pr44, but I'll get there too, well eventually. That's great color to boot.
