Biggest 35s

Is this the actual mounted measurement or what you read from their spec sheet? I noticed these are also 85 pounds :eek: Personally, if I was going to carry all that weight on the corners I would make the jump to some lighter 37s that measure 35.5ish mounted.

Weight in your tires is better then weight on a roof rack.

Yep probably 35.5 or so. So maybe i should have posted in the smallest 37 thread instead of biggest 35. ;)
 
Ok, my dumb question for the day; how do you measure your tires to get the actual size?

From what I gathered in reading this thread is that the tire will not measure up to actual size listed on the tire.

You measure with tires mounted on the jeep and inflated to the pressure you normally would run on the street. Take a tape measure and measure from the ground, through the hub and to the top of the tire. Now you can see the actual size by looking where the tread measures up to on the tape.
