Is Discount Tire taking pre-orders for the KO2 37's scheduled to be available Mar 1, 2015 (according to BFG site).

When I asked about them at my local store they told me they were already in stock turned out to be KO's and when I specified KO2 they looked at me like I was trying to book a ticket to the moon....

I don't see why we can't pre-order a set for you. I would contact the store again and speak with the manger. Tell him you want to pre-order five(5) 37x12.50R-17 KO2 tires; the product code is 29037 :thumb:

I did see that! It would only be about and inch smaller in width than those sizes, but about half inch larger than my 255/75/17's. That would not look to bad?

I don't think it will look bad at all. Unless you need the extra width, the 34x10.50R-17 is great size, especially for the factory wheels.

Don't need extra width and mainly run service and logging roads. No extreme rock crawling, and yes running stock wheels and plan on keeping. Thanks for your opinion. Now just have to wait. I am also contemplating the Terra Grapplers as well. Read some very good reviews on that tire as well.

Just stopped by Discount tire to check these out. They appear to be a very nice tire, and very affordable as well. Upon first look the appear very similar to my KOs, but actually quite a few significant differences side by side. He told me he can get me the 35x17s in March. Now the question is, wait till March for the KO2 or just go with the tried and tested Trail Grapplers.

Those trails are so fricken sweet Joe. So many tire choices. You going 35"s?

Pete! What's happening brother? I'm thinking of bumping up to a 35. Ill be leaving here in a year and likely heading either back to the West or Hawaii. I tried going to Alaska, but the request got denied and they offered me Hawaii instead. Either way, Ill be in a place that I can wheel more challenging stuff, and more often. There are so many choices and so many variables, its hard to choose! I love the BFGs, as they have always been good to me. I have ran them on several trucks, our Land Rover, the CJ7, our 2 door JK and the 4 door JK. Those new KO2s are really nice, and I imagine I could get a lot of mileage out of them. They have a lot of improvements and would work perfect for 90% of the wheeling I do (rocks, dirt, sand, and general trail riding) and on wet and dry pavement. Those Trail Grapplers are so sweet though, and would come in handy when I run into that stuff I hate so much called mud. Off road I know they will be a better all around tire, but the BFG is a great all arounder too. Decisions, decisions!

Hey brother! I am going to keep my 3.73 gears for now but the craving for larger tires is calling me. Hawaii would be sweet. Out west is awesome. As I drive over 50 miles a day commuting I am looking at the KO2's due to getting higher mileage and the terra G2's. Went to a shop that had 35x12.50x17
Trail Grapplers and really liked them. I'm with you hard to decide.

what kinda $$$ are we looking at for the KO2 in 37x12.5r17???

I was quoted 270 for the 35s and 330 for the 37s today at Discount Tire.

Pricing hasn't been released just yet on the 37x12.50R-17 KO2 so I'm not sure how accurate the $330.00 per tire quote is. The 37x12.50R-17 KO runs $376.00 per tire (mail order) so if I were to guess the 37x12.50R-17 KO2 will be closer to $400.00 per tire.

$276 for the 37x12.50R-17 KO?? hmmm...that's a great price, where can I order a set?

$376 for the KO and $400 ish for the KO2 but only $370 for the nitto trail graps that doesn't seem right

I'm just making an educated guess based on what available KO2 sizes sell for when compared to the KO. Again, pricing hasn't been released on the 37x12.50R-17 so we'll have to wait and see.
