Best place to get cb

How many out their used the 18 ft cable vs the 9 ft ? and what did you do with the extra or did you run a custom ?

I ran mine from front to back - hid it behind the dash and followed under the carpet/door channel along the passenger side, over the wheel well (still under the carpet/channel), through the existing wiring harness into the back and out one of the grommets. I started where I plan to ultimately mount the CB up front so I have a couple of extra loops in front behind the dash and also in the back inside the back door until I get my rear bumper and do a more permanent mount.

I started with about 50' of cable and cut it down to around 24'. I know you'll hear why 18' is optimal but there are a lot of formulas etc. that go both ways..my CB tuned fine and I transmit and receive just fine.

I also stripped the coax outer to create the ground connection - not using the all-in-one connector type.
