Best Extended Jeep Warranty???

Hi all, I've had my 2023 Jeep Gladiator Mojave for 2 years and 13K miles on it. I did a search and couldnt find this exact topic. Do you guys recommend the Jeep extended warranty or a different company for extended warranty? Most likely I'm going to keep it for a while. Please let me know you're recommendations - good and of course the bad companies to avoid. - thanks in advance.
 
CDJR sales rep here. What @wayoflife said. Waste of money for what most likely won't be covered when you come in - especially after modifying it more and more. Every dealer will try to find something else to blame to put some extra change in their pocket.

If you're super worried about it, maybe one on the powertrain when the 5yr/60k runs out could be helpful but only really around, at, or above 100k miles - assuming you have the 3.6. But again, I still wouldn't.

So, Mr. Rep... why do I keep getting "Last Notice" for extended dealer warranties and they have yet to be serious about it.

And who the hell is Bill that was told by his sales manager to reach out to me and offer me $500 over bluebook for my Jeep because they really, really, really need it in their used car inventory.

"Bill" has written to me so much I feel like he should take me out and buy me dinner or at least a beer. 🤪

The Jeep warranty wants you to obtain service from the same sorry dealership that sold you your Jeep. You could only avoid this by moving very far away, or arranging to break down very far away.

Then you look at the warranty coverage text and see that it is fully itemized rather than bumper-to-bumper like the original warranty. So thousands of components have been left out, and it is not feasible to determine the significance. The visors might fall off, or the locker position sensor fails, and then you learn that these items are not covered, similar to the thousands of chassis parts which were not enumerated in the fully itemized warranty.

So I decided not to pay for an extended warranty.

I purchased the Jeep new from a CA dealer and live in Nevada. I guess I'll just pass on a warranty.
 
The biggest problem with warranties is that your dealership gets to decide whether or not to honor it. And, unless you're a regular customer of theirs, as in, you go in for every oil change and have them do any and all work on your Jeep, MOST will decline your warranty and find something to blame it on you. This isn't an opinion, this is based on experience and hearing it straight from friends in the industry.

I had the exact experience even though I had all my maintenance done at the same dealership that I bought from. They were willing to do the needed repairs but when they consulted with the "area rep" for the green light, he said "No" because I had taken the Jeep in water !?. Really? The Jeep was brought in for an oil consumption problem and had never been above the lower door panel in water. So, I contacted the complaint center at headquarters to get another rep for a second opinion and was told by a very polite young lady that they did not override or give second opinions on what an area rep decided. Period. I paid out of pocket for an engine swap and learned a valuable lesson about some of the inner workings of dealerships and warrantees.

That sucks! I’d be pretty upset with them!
 
I don’t remember which one I got; this was the first time I ever bought one ever. But it was not badly priced “adds” 2 years “bumper to bumper”on top of Jeep’s. Ur what I thought what made it a decent deal was it covers 100% cost of one brake job, one spark plug change, one alignment and I think there were a couple other items. I plan to leave this Jeep alone and just wheel it/daily drive it
