Was that portion pretty hard?
I've heard the Dust is the hardest trail in California.

Not the hardest, however I'm thinking it's the longest at about 30 miles, give or take. I've heard mixed reviews on it from it being much the same as the Rubicon to it being a difficult trail with much carnage.
