Axle swap and bolt on coilovers

Well pretty much got the front done today. Only about 10 min more and we will be able to bolt the tires back on 1405914615011.jpg
Fitting the coilover bracket 1405914650013.jpg
Passenger side all done. Got the driver side all done 2 but was to dark to take pic. Only took us about 2 hours to get the front totally done.

I call BS! Unless there was a complete redesign of the bracketry that required no trimming, there's no way you did the entire front in 2 hours!!!

We started at 5:30 and was done at 7:30. We had to trim the battery box on the passenger side but not much on the driver side.

That's not bolting the tires back on or anything just bolting on brackets and coilovers. The rear took about 3 and a half hours.

:hmm: Had either of you done this lift before and did you use a lift?

My brother in law has been doing lift kits for 17 years. And no lift just the same oak jack stands. Just to be clear we already had the coil spring and and shock off yesterday also

And panda gave me quite a few pointers
From doing yours. Can you see your battery when you look under your fender?

No. I only put a TINY hole in the front edge of the battery tray in one spot to clear the passenger side bracket. Doing this without cutting into the battery tray like crazy was easily the most time consuming part of the install.

I still don't see how you guys did it so fast. We really didn't hit any hickups that set us back. The only thing that I would say slowed us down is how meticulous and anal I am. I would say that the fastest I could do it without hacking everything all to hell, with a lift, and with the experience of doing it already, would be 7 or 8 hours.

Well we hacked into mine if you look you can see my battery pretty good. We just took a Sawzall and started cutting till it fit. But it still doesn't look bad. We cut for about 15 min on the passenger side to get it to fit.
