AXES and SHOVELS?

I like that and also will visit my local Army surplus for a shovel.

Was planning on that. I've seen other versions at camping stores and haven't been impressed with the quality. Nothing beats an old army shovel.

I used to have a gerber with 17" handle. the handle length worked great and found myself taking it more often then my 14" hatchet.

I've been looking at their gator combo axe but don't camp as much anymore.
