He's got a video in one of these threads. The square tabs bend over onto the end of the bar on the flats. The rounded tabs bend over on the flats of the nuts after torquing.Might be a stupid question, but what’s with the ninja stars? Meant to alternately bend the tabs?

LOL, I think I've watched them all and I couldn't remember which had it in there.
Gotcha. Thanks. Didn’t get to the videos yet. He's got a video in one of these threads. The square tabs bend over onto the end of the bar on the flats. The rounded tabs bend over on the flats of the nuts after torquing.
Thats gotta suck though when you need to adjust things... as parts wear over time. It's to help prevent the jam nuts from coming loose.
I don't know, there are lots of things that use lock rings like this. You find them in things like hub assemblies and they do require being bent straight to remove. It takes a little work but not too bad especially if you only have to do it every once in a while.Thats gotta suck though when you need to adjust things... as parts wear over time.
The ends are legit. They're the same ones that you find on other big name steering kits. That is their main product.I like the forged ends. Beefy
Yea that was my first thought is well, thinking about all the times my steering wheel has been off center after a trail. But then I remembered I haven’t had to do that but maybe once since I got rid of the stock DL and TR!Thats gotta suck though when you need to adjust things... as parts wear over time.
