Anyone on FIRE path?


Obviously this guy never owned a Jeep, haha; cars don’t bring happiness? Only if you’re doing it wrong.

Life is simple:

Start saving for retirement when you get your first job. Doesn’t have to be big money, but at least max out your employer contribution.

Live within your means.

Those two things alone should put you on track to early retirement. Maybe not at 30, but let’s face it, not many individuals have the discipline to pull that off much less a couple.

I’m forty-seven and planning to retire at fifty-five. The only problem is that I truly love my job. I enjoy the people & problem solving, so I’m not sure what will happen, but that’s the plan.
