Blues traded Elliot. Got us passed 2 game 7s. Affordable and had a few years left of textbook goaltending. Crazy.
I'm just a fan if I was a good scout I guess I would get paid for my opinion. But dam moose was as good as any other goalie in the playoffs and goaltending can take you far towards the cup.

I have not seen Mathews play. First us #1draft since Kane.

I think the blues issue with Elliot was just cap space unfortunately

That trade really works for everyone yeah the blues are losing a good goalie but now Elliot and Allen have a chance to be #1 guys instead of all worrying about splitting. Playing time is usually what someone would want and now they both get a chance at a lot more.

Agreed. I read up on it this morning. Moose will get to start as #1. Allen is no slouch.

It's actually too bad because I enjoy watching the Canadian teams. The NHL network was showing the Leafs, Kings series from '93. That was an awesome series, and Melrose had a great mullet.

Yea that was straight up unreal! He got lucky on the first goal with being in the slot at the right time. The next two tho were pure skill and the 4th was a sexy pass from his line mate
