Posted this up with a few friends but wanted to get a broader set of opinions ...
On Sunday few of us went out and my Jeep started making a whining sound intermittently.. see videos below . Thoughts were potentially power steering pump or ABS pump.. but steering was unaffected and doesn’t seem to match timing of the noise . ABS light was on during drive home but went away as the steering wheel was still straight

Only happens in 4-lo during wheeling . On drive home never heard the sound and the fan should have been on and off on hills

The noise reminds me of the vacuum pump that actuates the front hubs on a Ford super duty. Like a small electric motor cycling or a compressor with a leaky hose that's not holding pressure.

Maybe it's just me, but I didn't hear any difference in the noise when the wheels were turning.
It sounded like a compressor to me as well.

Covid Jeep repairs continue . Mounted ARB on top of the tuffy deck . Hard to reach but a good option if I’m fully loaded and need my back seat for passengers . Remounted the brawlee light bar — correct orientation this time .
Floor mats and carpets were soaked so I pulled and dried . Damp again this morning . Must have a leak .
Dropped off at the dealer to check on leak and the power steering or other pump noise under extended warranty
