A warm hello from Central NC, an hour north of Uwharrie OHV Trails and 3 hours from our nearest beach. My Jeep is a 2011 JK Sport named Ellis. I enjoy camping, wrenching and off-roading, so it seems like I found my people. Years ago I sold my beloved TJ when my kids outgrew the back seat and I missed it ever since. The kids now have their own vehicles so I'm done with dependability and legroom. I'm trying to fortify this old heap into a trusty trail machine.

Got any pics of that '11? We had a 2010 JKU before, it handled all sorts of things well. Our new JL Rubicon is doing well too & fits/turns in smaller spaces .

Here's Ellis! Thanks for asking. Most of my first improvements so far have been mechanical, so not much to impress yet. Have acquired most of the parts for a 2-1/2" lift, but they are patiently waiting in the basement for when I need new tires
