Alternate Air Source for ARB Lockers (Thor's Lightening)

Hey all. New to Wayalife. I have been scrowering the ether for YouTube videos or information on forums to see if anyone has been successful or knows how to utilize Thor's Lightening True Dual Total Control portable compressor as an air source for the ARB lockers. I really do not want to purchase the ARB Twin Compressor.

The Trual Dual would be mounted in the back. Running wires and all that is not a big deal. I mainly need to know what type of connections/any special cupplers/regulators/etc.

Anyone have any knowledge or know enough about air systems that would be able to point me in the right direction on how I could set a system up like that to run my lockers?

First and last I have heard of them.
Why do you say first and last?

Because that was the first time I had heard of them and also the last time I had heard anyone talk about them.
Gotcha. Shocked that a couple or more of you haven’t heard of them. Similar to Morrflate and a few other brands that look just the same with different branding. They are owned by former LE.

Haven't heard of Morrflate either but if they are the same they sound like they are made in China dime a dozen compressor.

It’s probably going to be more of a headache trying to figure out how not to use an ARB compressor than just using one. The single compressor isn’t that expensive.

As it's been said.... there is a reason why ARB is the standard.

Assuming you are permanently mounting the "portable compressor" .. you will need some sort of pressure tank and a pressure sensitive switch since air lockers need constant pressure. Then you need some switches .. one for the compressor, one for each of the lockers, a couple solenoids (they come with ARB lockers...) , air lines to reach the lockers .. Exactly "what" depends on what parts you buy... The "standard" ARB air connections are 1/8” BSPT I think and the compressor ports are 1/4" NPT

Most likely ... you will need to remove the quick connect fittings on the compressor, add some sort of manifold to deal with the tank and solenoids and then add the quick connect back somewhere so you can still do tires.

Reading through the ARB installation guides will give you some understanding of all the fittings that ARB uses.
