While I had about half of the lift (purchased from a fellow in Upland, CA) there were important parts that were missing and when it came to shipping and my work schedule I figured I'd get ORE to do it right.
None of the install was complicated, at least from my vantage point - BUT, I know I couldn't do a gear change - so I did the combo platter and really enjoyed my time with Mel and Drew.
They are a great company that keeps their shop VERY clean, their workmanship is excellent, their patience with customers is epic, and the couch in the foyer is very comfortable as I waited there several hours for my Hotel to let me check in.
All in all a great experience - you might say - JK Experience!
 
I saw that you had done some upgrades on the Jeep but didn't realize what you did. Congrats on the lift and upgrades.
 
Drew and Mel at ORE fixed me up with my conglomeration of mixed parts all second hand from various sources. Drew put a plan together and when I arrived showing him (finally) what I had he knew there was going to be a lot more work than I had suggested. The shop got me right in, on schedule, and got me out 36 hours later.
Drew gave me a ride to a local motel while I waited and I walked back to the shop the following day with a new Jeep essentially.
Drove back to Santa Maria at about 50-55 mph along Hwy 1 through Malibu/Oxnard and my wife said - "Oh my!"
Guess it was a shock, but she loves it and so do I - can't wait to make it to the Rubicon this summer now.

Hope to see you soon as well. I'm hoping around June to meet up with ORE as well. When you thinking for the Rubicon?

I feel for you. My work rig had no way of seeing behind. They had me take a class called smith driving and one of the main things they tell you is to back up into spaces when you can or drive through. But it's still hard not being able to see behind you. :grayno:

Yes gears, guess they weren't on the list, I went with 5.13 for my 37s.
Good ratio, but if I went with PR60s I would have 5.38s I think.

Ok, so going down again with my OEM Rubi Rails being replaced with EVO rails.
They've been powder coated and prepped for install this Thursday.

OEM rails packed and being relayed on to Alex909 that morning.

That should about do it in prep for the "Rockin' Rubicon Run" in June. :clap2:
