Adjusting LCA's?

RK wants those jam nuts torqued to 250-300 ft-lbs...doubt that's with the intention of them moving even after flexing
 
I don't get how you guys think a joint that is made to swivel is gonna stay staight. They are made that way. If you look at the Jonny joints on my Evo long arm they aren't staight, so is something wrong? :idontknow:

You have Johnny Joints on BOTH ends of your control arms and that's why the entire arm can swivel like it does. The RK arms have polyurethane joints on the frame side and this will prevent the entire arm from rotating. IF the axle end joint is rotating over as is seen in the pic, it is because the jam nut loosened up enough for it to happen.
 
X2, this is how the RK arms are designed. If the jam nut is tightened properly, the joint will rotate back to center on flat ground.
