A TJ called The Lion

Got the axels stripped down and ready to send down the road for the gears to be installed. Matt got the necessary ram mounting blocks welded in. Knuckles are now full custom with upper ball joint eliminators and high steer arms welded on. The knuckles even seen a couple coasts of paint yesterday. Took a pic with fresh diff cover on the sterling. Like a kid I couldn't resist. Frame is screaming for some fresh paint, think Sunday or Monday ill do that. Most of the fab work is done other than sliders and some minor work on front bumper. Getting close to putting this thing together again.
That’s just beefy. So awesome watching lion getting built up

Psc pump installed along with reservoir and orbital. Still need to plumb it all together.
Yesterday we got rear axel in. That only took us about 6 hours. Every CA fought us going in. Neither me nor Matt had experienced this marathon axel install before. Irritating as hell barely describes it. Fortunately after the rear was that difficult the front axel decided to olay nice and went in much easier. Ended the day with measurements for drive shafts. Pretty sure we got that order in right at the end of the day for Adam's also.
Need to fab sliders and get those painted.
Oh, my aluminum radiator that was installed about 6 months ago decided to start leaking as it couldn't handle the lack of use i guess. So now that needs replaced also. Not even gonna warranty it. We know 2 guys who went with the same model and there's leaks also. Illtake the loss and get another brand.
Back at the shop in an hour or so to see what else we can check of the assembly list today.
Oh yeah I got axels sent out and returned last week with the 4:88 gears installed.

Good to hear.... that’s the direction we were talking about going. $100 oem replacement might have to work lol
Never once had an issue with an advance auto replacement, I think it’s a car quest brand, lifetime warranty too. Use a online code and pickup in store for discount. 👍

The last week or so has had its ups and downs but pushed thru and are almost complete. The to do list is down to some small things. 4 banjo bolts for my brakes to complete the all new lines and fittings.
Tighten nuts and bolts.
Secure oil pan skid.
That will complete the work portion of this phase of the build. Wow has it been exciting and frustrating.
Can't even describe how good it felt just to pull it out of the shop for a dusty photo shoot.
