Yep I am aware and will not be doing any more lift than I have now without swapping axlesOh, and one other thing about mitigating vibrations... 1-tons have manual locking hubs. Just sayin.

Two things. First, I hope you know that I haven't been commenting on what you have been saying but rather, what you were being sold on. Second, lift shouldn't determine whether or not you swap in new axles, tire size and or horsepower you're playing with should.Yep I am aware and will not be doing any more lift than I have now without swapping axles
No worries I realize that but I was not being sold on anything. I was just passing along what the owner told me a year ago and why he did it. Correct tire size determines lift as well as anything else needed to accommodate the tire size of choice. My earlier comment on more lift being I know if I decide to go 40's more lift will be needed as well as axles etc to support them. Two things. What!?! You won’t be going all in with portals AND Central Inflation System?!?I mean really, you literally can get a set of 1-tons and a LOT MORE for the same price as these things...

But but but, you can drive over a 5 gallon bucket with them and you don't even need a lift
Almost made it!
the biggest thing? They are absurdly overpriced to the point that I find the whole thing to be a joke. So, I'm bumping this thread only because I seemed to have missed it when it was originally posted and lately, I've been getting a LOT of guys who are overly influenced by social media whores and have way too much money to spend, asking for my "opinion" on them. AND THEN, when I tell them what I really think - that they're nothing new, are stupid expensive, totally unnecessary, will prevent you from driving fast, provide way too much lift without even installing a lift and are just stupid when trying to install coilovers with them and, and, and... I probably could go on... they end up getting all butthurt because all they really wanted was for me to confirm they are cool for wanting or in one case, already having portals.
Not to fluff myself up here but if I really thought portals were the shit, I would have them on my Jeeps. There is a reason that I don't. That said, it's been about a year since this was originally posted (found it doing a google search) and I'd like to know what you guys think - sincerely. Am I stupid and are these $25k axle stilts really the cat's meow? What say you?
Apparently I already said the same thing on this thread 2 years ago. The point still stands. Lol.the biggest thing? They are absurdly overpriced to the point that I find the whole thing to be a joke.
That just means you actually believe it!Apparently I already said the same thing on this thread 2 years ago. The point still stands. Lol.
So, question. Did the leverage cause the bolts to break or did the guy just not use red loctite just in case he needed to remove them? You know, because of how permanent red is
Well we know they are good for leaving with a story.
