5.7 Hemi Conversion

You may be able to get a locksmith to come to your house and reprogram the keys. Then there would be no need to trailer or tow it.

BTW, amazing work and it is awesome to see the body back on. She locks like a badass and I’m sure sounds like it too!

Scanner worked. Had to re enter vin and it fired right up! Have 1 DTC for oil temperature sensor I need to get worked out but IT’S ALIVE!!!!

Passenger side front above the oil filter. Should be pretty easy. It’s most likely the connector I had to add it in to the Hemi computer. I’ll check resistance from the plug to the sensor first to make sure I don’t have an open somewhere in the wire. Unplug and re plug the connections a bunch of times etc. shouldn’t be too bad.

Brief delay in progress due to working at my actual job. Lol! It’s 96.5% done. I will make an attempt at posting a video upon completion. Haven’t tried any burnouts yet. I did disrupt some gravel in the driveway “accidentally” testing throttle response.

Happy to be stupid! My oil temp sensor light was all my fault. I added it to the wrong pin in the harness. Switched to the correct position and the light went out! Apparently I can’t count to 33. I now have no check engine lights whatsoever! Only thing left on the shelf is skid plates. Should be a driver this weekend.
