40's on Dana 44s?

Why do you say the junkyard swap isn't even a comparison?

Because I don't see how you could compare a 10-20 year old axle that is not designed to be a direct bolt in application v.s. a brand new axle specifically designed for the JK. If you throw in the new pricing of the PR 60/60, it makes even more sense

Yes they aren't directly bolt in, but if you're changing up your suspension while doing an axle swap, it makes sense to me, and there's companies out there that do make the swap kits for Super duty, Kingpin 60, and 14 bolt axles. Dynatrac does have new pricing packages, but if I remember correctly, Grubbicon swapped in his junkyard axles, custom long arms and ORI struts for the cost of the ProRock 60 front. Hell you can probably make 14 bolts front and rear for around the same price probably, if you wanted something different lol

Due to the fact that they are not direct bolt in, you cannot compare the two. They're simply another option.

Don't forget that these axles which are suppose to be stronger and hold 40's he has broken a few shafts and other parts which caused him to spend more money. Doesn't seem like a smart investment to me at all. Plus his jeep was down for almost a year due to the swap. Once again not smart.

You haven't wheeled with Scott, he would break a ProRock lol. It was also down for a year because he had other Jeeps to go wheeling with, so he wasn't in any kind of a hurry. Hell he didn't touch it for like 4 months straight because he had that beater YJ he was wheeling almost every weekend lol.

He wheels hard but he definitely couldn't break a pro rock.

Yea they were! Mine only have 50k on them, so hopefully they last a shit ton longer than his lol. And idk, he if he knew he had RCVs in his axles, he would definitely be hitting shit harder lol. Plus if he runs those stickies, he has a helleva lot better chance of snapping one lol
