I guess I'm good with factory carrier but you know I like the look of the Or Fab carrier

I hear ya. I havent done a carrier and it is holding up fine. Just make sure its secured well. I can tell you that the evo fascia will not work if you use the factory carrier.

That good to know I been looking at a lot of the pictures on here and noticed nobody had the fascia on with the stock carrier

The tire sits between the frame rails. You can do the fascia but youd need a spare relocating bracket that spaces the tire up an out.

Don't think it has to go up but most brackets go up and out.

Couple inches id say. Or out moght work but that just puts more leverage on the gate.
