I installed the Clayton rear track bar today.
There’s a little foot shot for all of the freaks out there

I also removed the heat shield.

Now I can have some more garage beers

I got some EVO parts on order. I ordered a front track bar and some lower front control arms.

I’ve been trying the Garage Beer lately and I must say, it’s entertaining. My favorite is Natures Calls but it’s impossible to find. That one, and Huckit are pretty good.
Was the original bar straight?

The factory rear track bar is straight. The Clayton one has the bend in it to accommodate up to a 37" tire.

I took the Jeep out to the VERY soggy Browns Camp today and had a good time. I was very impressed with the Gladiator. It crawled up everything, which was surprising since it was so wet. I took it easy since I went alone. I have to help my buddy fix his Ford (LOL) so we can go together.


I got my new front track bar today. My front lower control arms should be here tomorrow. Then I’ll have to wait for decent weather to install them.

I think my OCD is going to make me get LED DRL’s. I don’t really want to do a fender chop. I turned my DRL’s off using the Tazer, but I can’t get them to turn off when my headlights are on.

If anyone knows any other options, I’m all ears.

What’s Browns Camp like? Heard if it, but never been.

It’s pretty awesome. There’s a great range of trails. There’s very easy stuff all the way up to very very challenging, as you can see in the Wayalife video. It’s very well mapped out and most trails are sponsored by a local club so they’re in good shape.

LOL-coming from a guy who says full belly aftermarket skids are such a must.

If that’s what you took away from my posts, that does shed a little light on your confusion.

I know of a guy that travels up that way and he likes it. It’s not that far from here so I was going to make the trip sometime.

That entire area has some great trails. The Gladiator is a bit of a cheat code on the climbs with the long wheel base... but those trails were built by guys in TJs ... some tight PWN turns just waiting to take out your tail lights....

There are a couple of fair options out there to replace the factory lights, but I’m not going to jump just yet. Would you consider changing those out or does that happen to you much?

Likely depends on what kind of trails you run. I had base "sport" lights... they were cheap"ish" to replace. The fancy LED + nannies (lane detection etc...) are stupid expensive ..... I did eventually replaced mine with Oracle flush mount LEDs ... but that was just because they were cheaper than the OEM light I broke....YMMV !!

Sadly, I don't have that Gladiator anymore .... but I did not have any issues with the Oracle lights while I did ... certainly lots of complaints out there but I was either lucky or the the interwebs magnify the complainers !
