2020 Dirt Experience : Follow the Adventures of MOBY on the 10th Annual JKX

I met MOBY way back in 2008 and I admired it then and still do today. He is Legendary and Timeless!
 
All your Jeeps are cool, but, Moby is the coolest.
Have you and Cindy ever considered running the Alcan 5000?
It would be an awesome adventure, and video. The one thing on my bucket list.

So, we've always wanted to explore Alaska including the drive up there and back but on our own terms. I can't say that we'd be able to get the experience we'd want from a rally.
 
I have to say that I'm kinda surprised that Amazon has actually been coming through for us lately. Placed an order for a KC 10" FLEX light on Friday and it got delivered yesterday! Needless to say, I was more than happy to get it installed!

It's a shame that the FLEX light has been discontinued being that it really puts out a LOT of light, 4,875 lumens and in a compact package that doesn't block the grill.

We purposefully bought this light in a spot beam pattern and specifically because we were going to use it with the LZR A-pillar lights. The FLEX light does a great job of shooting light beyond the headlight highbeams and the LZRs do a great job of filling everything in. Hell, I don't even see the hotspots that our Truck-Lites cast with them on.

As far as lighting goes, I'd like to upgrade Moby's old and dim rocklights with a set of LUX but I don't know if I can get them in time.

Otherwise, I still need to double check the psi in the coilovers and air bumps, check fluids one more time and then go through my tool bags and fluid containers to make sure they're still complete and full.

Aside from that, we just need to pack and head on out. :yup:

Yeah, loving it! Just wish it weren't so frickin cold and windy last night as I would have stayed out later doing more tests LOL!

Sometimes I entertain the thought of selling my jk and getting a newer Jeep. Then I see some pics of Moby and that all goes out the window. Truly the best jk out there
 
Just catching up on this.

Looks like you guys are all set for the next big adventure 👍👍

Can't wait to see the videos start flowing, as I'm sure it will be epic.
