2013 JKU sport

Nice rig. I'll have to contact them and see what my options are. My WJ was my wife's that I inherited when I bought her a new car, we used mine as the trade in. Believe it or not but it was a two wheel drive WJ. It was very depressing to say the least [emoji23]

4" is a lot of lift to just run 35s. Gravity isn't your friend. Keep your center of mass low.

You can trim your fenders or buy some flat ones, put a leveling kit or budget boost on, and run 35s. No true lift required. If you want a different feel to how it rides, by all means run a 2.5" lift.

People say TF makes good videos. Dennis or what's his name just always seems a little odd to me.

If I had 7k, id like to start with gears, decent lift (Evo enforcer for me), wheels/ tires (stay in the 35 realm for now with a d30), rear tire carrier, winch front/ bumper, procal, and some sliders. Depending how much was left maybe a rear locker. Im still trying to piece meal my Sahara and Ive still had a lot of fun. 37's on a PR4r someday? Hell yeah but for 7k I think you could build a very fun and capable rig. Just my yhoughts on it.

I would go this route as Granite mentioned. Seven grand? I wish I had that for my rig.

Look at Napalm's rig with 35's and EVO leveling kit. Very inexpensive set up. You can get other goodies such as bumpers, winch, sliders or guards.

Thanks. Lol, a 2wd Jeep, I will never understand. If and when you decide to do an axle swap, calling Dynatrac is a good step because they have so many different ways to build the axle of your choice and can give you a price.

$7K budget is tough to spend on a front dana 30 because you just want to be careful throwing that much money on mods with an axle that will likely give you trouble in the future. You could c gusset it, put in a good set of chromoly shafts, a 3" lift (evo enforcer for example) and you'd be good to run 35's comfortably off road unless you're absolutely beating the shit out of it. Regear to 4.88 and throw a locker in the rear (you wouldn't want to lock your front d30) and that would be a good set up with a light foot.

If you're even thinking about going to 37's at all in the future, take that $7K and get a fully built prorock 44 with ARB, regear the rear d44 to match the front, and you still probably have the money left over to get some good 3" springs, new shocks (like a rancho 9000xl) and front lower control arms. Shit, and maybe some takeoff 35's from someone while you save for your 37s.

That is a good looking Jeep, Clay. I thought you got a Zeon for it?

Oh and if you're not living, you're already dead or something.

I think your first suggestion makes the most sense for me. I gotta walk before I run... Nice looking jeep and thanks for the insight...

If you aren't familiar with wheeling, I recommend you get out there and really get a feel for the jeep. 35s can be had with just a leveling kit, and maintain factory(ish) ride. C gussets can be had cheap and give you a little added assurance that you won't bend your c's with all that tire. You will be amazed at where a stock JK can get you. I'm not saying that a Prorock is a bad idea, I am in the process of ordering mine right now actually. But that for moderate wheeling it isn't necessary. I have beat my 30 up with 35s pretty good, and I am starting to worry that I am pushing my luck.
There is a great deal of knowledge here, most of the forum members really use their Jeeps. When it comes to serious off-road you will not find a better group to help you figure things out.

Old pic, but I haven't put the Zeon on, yet.

Nice! Clay, it's like a whole different than we saw at Hidden Falls. Good to see it's coming along well [emoji106]
