1985 CJ-8 Scrambler Restoration

I was able to track down a set of half doors off a YJ in black with no rust and then ordered a set of new uppers for them.
All they need are some chrome hinges and interior panels and they’ll be good as new.

That’s awesome they seem to be a lil hard to find. I’m wanting to swap out the full doors on the YJ

I’ve been watching for a couple months now until I found a black set. Got lucky finding those so close

And then we brought it home for the first time in 2-1/2 years!





Even had an assist from my police chief that happened to be driving by when we were unloading it. I’ve known him most of my life and was great having him there, my dad and my kids for the return home. Also having my neighbor Cole there for some Young muscle helped too.
