12' Gecko Build

Welp.... the jeep is officially ready for its first test drive. Gonna wait for the day light to make sure I'm actually going to clear my garage door but damn I can't wait to drive this thing again.
Once I get some testing and adjustments done I'll post up my experience with getting these fusion axles installed myself
Can’t wait to hear your thought on them

Anyone got any pro tip on getting the brakes bead after having the lines open for months?
Did the conventional 2 person method quite a few times and my pedal is still just going straight to the floor.
Just wanna take it for a test drive 😪

You’re getting all the bubbles out each time and it’s still going to the floor? Started with the passenger rear?

I was fairly confident in all of them but yeah its super soft on to the floor. Gonna try to hit them again tonight see if more air worked its way out.
Yeah started back right, back left, front right, front left

Had the wife help again
Press and hold the pedal
Crack the bleeder
Close the bleeder
Release, repeat.

5 times per corner. The driver front had like 2 tiny bubble come out but all 4 corners look good. Clean fluid no air.

Start it up and its still just mush to the floor

don't pump, ABS systems do better dripping out which is why the Motive Products 0103 Power Bleeder works well.

It keeps the reservoir at a constant pressure and with enough brake fluid in the Motive, you don't run the chance of running the reservoir too low and introducing more air into the system, no need to have the second person pumping the brakes.

If anything, they can monitor the brake fluid in the Motive and also the pressure, which ... when you first hook it up, the instructions say to not fill it but pressurize and make sure there are no leaks in your braking system
