i have done most of the red harder trails at Rausch creek. factory skids are plenty and a harness isnt needed unless your driving like an ass. having a great spotter and taking your time is all thats really needed for those trails.

Here is the 2.5” AEV spacer lift with shock extension with 35’s that I mentioned in the other thread. I installed this on a friends jeep last summer

if your only going to do 2.5" of lift you can do a lot of trails with the JL platform. if you really wanna do 3.5" then you absolutely need to do the proper length shocks and many more upgrades as Wayalife mentioned.

some kits like the AEV 2.5" spacer kit come with shock extensions. it will allow you to keep the factory springs and shock while giving you the height desired. so yes, you can keep the factory shocks but you do need to add the proper lenght extensions if you lift it

too much resistance somewhere. resistance creates heat which will melt the plug. either the wires are too small or there is an issue with the fan requiring more current

I would bring it back to the dealer and make them figure it out. 7 days is a HEFTY draw! Take their loaner car and Don’t take yours back till they can figure out what’s drawing that much amperage

Little gym/life update The Past year I have focused more on counting macros. Started out at 268lbs and now down to 234. Maintenance calories have been 3500ish a day and 2500 during a calorie defect. Lifting 3x a week and a more cardio/intensity focused day on saturdays. Still getting stronger...

With all the Toyotas and vans I work on I have been seeing a lot of taller but still stock width or slightly wider than stock tires. Idk if it’s just to help with the little tire clearance they have or if it is a new trend. Hope it’s not a new trend lol
