You’re going to need good sleeping pads for the cold. Thermarest make a 3” self inflating pad that’s great for car/jeep camping. A lot of us bought this because it works.

If you put out a lot of plastic sheets, you might not have to rake. 😬

Something small and very efficient is a Nalgene water bottle filled with boiling water and put in a sock. Drop that in your sleeping bag and you’ll be warm 4-5 hrs. It’s amazing how well this works. Only thing that sucks is reheating the water when it cools.
