That’s kinda what I’m thinking. I do plan to keep the ones I have on now. But since this is her daily, baby carrier, and ever so often weekend trail rig, softer may be the best route for now

    Suggestions for Spring/Shocks; Seeking input

Soooo… after several conversations with EVO, JKS, Synergy, and King (Clayton never replied). King offered the most support, at least for me. They suggested I start with the springs first, since the shocks could be too stiff but springs (in their mind) would be the biggest culprit of the two...

Appreciate this! But I have Synergy drag link installed. So it’s one solid bar. Side note: I had Synergy drag link on my JK with their steering stabilizer relocation mount. Found out quickly that if that stabilizer mount is not perfectly centered upright, it’ll cause problems.

Ya, I torque/grease check every 1,000-1,500 miles out of old habits. Definitely learned that from prior installs!

I do not have a dropped pitman or flipped drag link… If you can imagine, all my prior projects were either 3 or 4 inch lifts and surprisingly never needed either. That’s why I’m struggling with this JLU.

Yup, same size I have on this Jeep. I’ll test them out at 25psi for a week and see what comes of the interment bump steer/death wobble

Yessir! To be honest, lessons learned from prior Jeep projects, I get them balanced at Discount tire and then checked again at Firestone (because I bought a vehicle lifetime alignment/balance package). Do you remember what PSI you used? And what tires you running now for future consideration.

@wayoflife Currently running KO2s on 17s at 32psi for surface roads. @OverlanderJK Death wobble on this Jeep has been a pain in my ass to fix. Sector shaft brace took the steering from severely pissed off to slightly temperamental.

Thank you @Ddays and @jeeeep for the insight. Definitely helps with my search and will call on those referred to see what’s up. I haven’t used EVO before and used JKS on my second build and forgot about them honestly (been a good minute since that project). I didn’t have problems with their...

Hey All, my wife’s ‘19 JLU Sahara is still riding super stiff. Current setup is Rubicon Express 3.5” Super Flex and over the last year upgraded tie rod/drag link, steering stabilizer mount, and sector shaft brace with Synergy parts. Ride quality improved drastically but still rides like we have...

    2016 WK2 Shocks/Struts - Help

@GP NOIR Appreciate the info! Yet I was hoping to see if anyone knew of stock replacements that aren’t factory for front/rear, mostly front. Trying to not spend crazy money to replace with factory parts. My GC is a daily work travel vehicle, so no lift for me (but I’ve always wanted one!)

    2016 WK2 Shocks/Struts - Help

Having troubles searching for shocks/struts for my 75th Anniversary WK2 all wheel drive. All I see are factory replacements and would prefer to install something better. Stock ride height, all highway cruising (work vehicle mostly). Plus, I have no idea how to tell if my rear shocks are load...

Spark Plug Gap 2.0 ‘19 JLU Question

Hey Everyone, What would the recommended gap be for ‘19 JLU 2.0 running either 89 or 91 octane (usually 91 unless 89 is WAY cheaper). Daily use with mild off-roading right now. Thanks!

    Loud knocking during initial start

Another random issue: The wife started her Jeep this morning and had a loud knocking sound (as if a lifter was shot) but was coming from underneath the vehicle. After a minute, it went away yet came back for a solid 30 seconds once she turned the vehicle off. Tried to get audio/video when...

    Rear Wheel Hub Assembly - 2016 WK2

They all say front though. That’s my struggle. Unless I’m misreading everything, which is possible given the last two weeks.

    Rear Wheel Hub Assembly - 2016 WK2

I actually confirmed with them, well Mopar Parts Online (same people), if it included the bearing and they said no. It’s just the part, not the set if that makes sense.

    Rear Wheel Hub Assembly - 2016 WK2

Hi All, Need to replace my passenger rear hub assembly as it’s starting to go out. When searching parts, all I find are hubs for the front. Does anyone know if parts are available or do I have to replace the bearing itself? 2016 GC 75th Anniversary with 176k miles. Thanks

    Sector Shaft 42mm Socket Problem

I’ve always been a synergy manufacturing guy, but before I installed the sector shaft, I installed synergy’s tie rod/drag link kit and it did improve my wobble by 25-30%. Going from every bump to specific bumps to trigger the wobble. Now with the sector shaft brace installed, my steering...

    Sector Shaft 42mm Socket Problem

I haven’t tried removing the stabilizer and seeing what happens but I’ll definitely give it a try on side roads (too much highway construction to risk it). I did take off my shocks off a while back because they felt way too stiff on the road (Rubicon Express 3.5” Super Flex kit with 2.5 Extreme...
