the trip to Ludington back in December! i didn't do much of a write-up on this as plenty have done it before me, but one of my friends from the Wolverine Wheelers Jeep Club came over and we knocked both sides of ball joints out, along with a new tie rod in around 6 hours! That was also working...

Took the Jeep up to Ludington for Thanksgiving and that was one of the longest trips since getting the driveshafts back and reinstalled and all drove well up and back! Was definitely uneventful which is exactly what I wanted! Also got to see the parade through Ludington, and the Jeeps...

Also got one of the famous P0457 GASCAP EVAP Codes on the Jeep, which I am amazed did not come soon! Basically since I got the Jeep, I always had to tighten the cap to just before the click to prevent this message from coming up, and that lasted 4 1/2 years like that with no issues, but then, I...

I also ended up getting my hands on some Red Rock 4x4 Taillight Guards for the Jeep. Nothing too special of fancy, but I like the look and a little extra protection on trails...but mostly just for the look. They came packaged very well and look to be nice quality. Time will tell, but I am happy...

Back in October, I decided to swap out my steering stabilzer for a new one. Now, I was having a good bit of wobble and steering shake on the Jeep, so the I am sure this contributed to wearing the old stabilizer out even faster, but I wanted to get a new one on there to help with the shaking. And...

Next up, at the end of October 2018 I replaced the Idler and Tensioner Pulleys along with the serpentine belt on the Jeep. Idling was getting a bit rough, and I could visually see the tensioner moving. I also put a mechanics stethoscope on it, and the bearing did not sound good. I decided to go...

Also swapped out and updated some decals on the fenders! No representing the Wolverine Wheelers on there! Used a plastic scraper to carefully start to remove the decals and then just carefully and slowly pulled them off and cleaned up the entire surface again! Simple as that!

We went up and saw some really beautiful fall colors in the northern lower peninsula around Grayling area along I-75. We also had some good times playing around on the...

Next up was the washer nozzle swap for one from a later JK. One of the biggest benefits of this swap is that is actually has two trajectories of spray, not just one, just the upper and lower parts of the windshield both get sprayed nicely, and the spray from both locations is much wider to cover...

Xprite LED Marker Lights (Final Product) And...the finished product: Overall, I love the look of these lights, they came out awesome! They are definitely much brighter, and even though the camera doesn't should it well, the amber color is very nice! And the best part...they still...

Xprite LED Side Marker Lights Installation With all the prep work done and all the parts and tools I needed, I dove in. The installation took about an hour and a half, mostly due to fighting plastic rivets, as well as the connectors on the marker lights, as the positions those are in, they get...

Also did a quick "install" a couple of days ago! I got some of the Quadratec rear floor mats for the 2-dr JK. I have been meaning to do this for a while, but was the right add on to my order finally! These are made of a really nice more rigid rubber material and i am actually really happy with...

So as you saw a couple of posts above, after Rocks and Valleys, TWSTR was very muddy, so a good cleaning was in order, especially under the hood! And yes, I did win the detailing, but it wasn't quite dirty enough yet for usage of that coupon, so I will save that for a bit later! So the Monday...

Back on September 15, I went out with the Wolverine Wheelers Jeep Club and we had a small convoy up to Rocks and Valleys ORV Park in Harrison, MI for the "Wheelin' for Ronald" event benefiting the Ronald McDonald charity. So once again, let's fast forward further as it was once again busy for a while, and at the end of August, I started noticing a few small drips of oil on the floor of my garage. And of coarse, i am always glancing/looking/keeping an eye out for something that may not be right...just the car guy...
