Verdict is... compression test failed... needs a new head :doh: I was hoping I missed the window on this one. It looked like most head replacements were happening around 10K. I guess mileage doesn't matter.
I've got a buddy at work that has an 02 TJ and is wondering if there is any way to take these corner pieces off so he can paint them? He's worried about pulling to hard and ripping out a hidden fastener. Any help is appreciated.

bought a used Warn winch a couple of weeks ago. It was a little rough so I decided to paint it with rustoleum truck liner. I think it turned out fairly well. The steel line that was on it was trashed, so I upgraded it to warn Spydura synthetic.
I think it looks pretty good.

Fun little trail a little north and west of Woodland Park. It's mostly easy with some steep areas. There is a side loop that is very steep and rutted and very fun.
