    2 Door Xtreme Recon!

If this is true, then really glad I have a Ruby X 2-door on order (scheduled build date is March 22nd) with the 35" tire package. Depending on what they offer on the '25 MY, I might just have to get last call for 'Real Jeeps' :ROFLMAO: However, it is hard to believe they would drop the 2-door...

    2 Door Xtreme Recon!

If Jeep were to drop the 2-Door JL...I would be a new Bronco owner. However it is hard to imagine them dropping the 2-door (Real Jeep:ROFLMAO:) as long as Ford continues with the 2-door Bronco. That said and to hedge my bets, I am waiting on a new '24 Ruby X 2-door w/35" tire package to replace...

Tie Rod / Drag Link / Stabilizer Kits

On my '20 JLR I am using SteerSmarts track bar, drag link, tie rod and axle mounted stabilizer relocation bracket, Fox through-shaft stabilizer and Rancho frame mounted track bar brace. Drives and handles great, zero complaints! Only thing I would suggest is no matter what brand you go with make...

    2 Door Xtreme Recon!

The factory winch option at $1995 is pretty attractive...You get a custom winch based off the Warn Zeon that while rated at 8K passed all testing to be rated at 9K, a winch that is almost 2.5" narrower than a standard Zeon and weighs just a bit less and comes with factory warranty-the downside...

    2 Door Xtreme Recon!

I hear ya, but...Factory 35's, 8" wide 12mm offset wheels, tailgate reinforcement, Mopar oversize tire carrier, 4.56 factory gears, a 1.5" lift plus a few other goodies and all standard on the 2-door X IF you get the 2.0! Also the Auto is $2K less with the 2.0 than with the 3.6...

    2 Door Xtreme Recon!

The Ruby-X 2 door w/35" package was just too tempting...Ordered a White one Feb 19th, went D-1 Feb 22nd and looks to be in production March 22nd! Strange thing is they make you order the 2.0 / Auto to get the 35" package, I wanted a 3.6 / Auto as I have a brand new-in-box Edelbrock...

    Winch battery disconnect

I wired my Zeon 10S to a Warn solenoid which I trigger through one of my AUX switches. This eliminates the chance of 'unauthorized' use of the winch and also any 'accidental' engagement. Fabricated a mounting bracket from heavy sheet aluminum, painted black and mounted to right fender near...

What was done to your rig this week?

Did you order the Rock Hard 4x4 Patriot Angled Up ones? I have those on my JLR and so far they have held up great, bounced off some hard-pack caliche with the full weight of the Jeep and zero issues!

Requesting JLUR Lift and Wheels Advice

I really like the Mopar Off Road PN 77072494AB, 17 x 8.5 with 5.22" backspace, even have the Jeep logo! I got mine last summer on sale at Quadratec for under $250 each with free shipping.

Requesting JLUR Lift and Wheels Advice

As others have said the Mopar is a great lift for your type of driving and works well with 35's. I ran 35" KO2's on Mopar Off Road 17"x8.5" wheels with 5.22" backspacing on the Mopar lift for a good year and that combo worked great both on and off road! Then I thought I wanted more...Now running...

    Jeep JL Star/stop system failed!!

Yup, start-stop continuously engaging the starter and manufactures tell you with a straight face that it will not cause premature failure...Not really the manufactures fault however as government mandated CAFE standards (worse under the Clown Show currently in Washington) force them into lying...

Z Automotive JL/JT OEM Locker Sensor Bypass

When I installed the Dana UD44 w/4.88's I contacted Dana and was told that on Dana branded UD44's, should the locker position sensor fail, Dana would offer a replacement part just for the sensor...wish to hell Jeep would do this and not insist on replacing the entire axle assembly! On the stock...

Ordered my JL last week, need some advice!

The Mopar kits are underrated by many, but with a just few other aftermarket goodies (adjustable track bar, at least adjustable lower front control arms) they are really hard to beat if you are just running 35's. My JLR with a modified Mopar lift rode and handled great on road and did very well...

JL Steering - I hate it

Just a little background...I am a bit picky and also a bit OCD. In a previous career life I was an ASE certified line tech at a large Chrysler-Dodge dealer and later a Mercedes tech, shop foreman and then Service Manager for one of the largest Mercedes dealers in the Southwest. I have also...

    Factory axles

The Prorock 44's are great, another good option is the Jeep Performance Parts Dana UD44. I have a new-in-box Dana/Jeep 4.88 UD44 I will be listing soon along with a few other goodies.

JL Steering - I hate it

When you install a lift the track bar and drag link angles will change somewhat due to their different lengths and different mounting points. However many things can affect bump steer including larger & heavier tires, out of balance/out of round tires, loose/worn suspension components, alignment...

JL Steering - I hate it

For sure wish Jeep had done a better / heavier duty job with steering on the JL's and not a fan of these damm electric power steering pumps. On my Rubi 2-door with a 2.5" lift and 37" KO2 D's I am getting a bit too much bump steer (never DW) for my taste and I am determined to correct it...

6.4-liter V-8 JL Wrangler Rubicon 392 - How much would you be willing to spend?

I would love a factory Hemi in a JL, as long as that JL is a 2-door! Unfortunately a snowstorm is Hell is more likely than a V8 JLR from the factory...It is likely however the mid model refresh will feature a turbo inline 6 which should at least offer a performance upgrade over current JLR...

Weird suspension feeling after installing lift

When you re-torque, be sure you are on a level floor, loosen all control arm / shock bolts first and bounce bumpers up and down to settle suspension. You do not have to remove the rear wheels to torque rear UCA but you will have to remove or slide out of the way the rear axle mounted bump stop...

    Steering Upgrade?

Glad you got your steering noise fixed! Off topic, do you know what caster you wound up with on the UD44? I just installed similar setup (UD44 w/4.88, 2.5", 37's and Adams driveshaft) and without FAD, thinking 5.5 degrees caster would work well. Sure as hell wish Jeep used locking hubs on their...
