A dial gauge will definitely help. But if you don't have one, spinning the drive shaft as I mentioned in my earlier post is a quick and easy way to verify the DS is spinning true. If you notice any up and down movement as the DS spins, that's the source of the vibration.

You're best option is to verify the yokes are running true. Even a slight out of roundness as the drive shaft spins on either end will cause a bad vibration.

I would check on a possible bad transfer case yoke. Put the rear diff on jack stands so the tires are off the ground, have a helper apply the brakes, start the engine and put the transmission in drive. While watching the drive shaft close to the yoke, ask your helper to release the brakes. As...

I had the same issue on my 09 JK and it turned out to be the short harness between the fan motor and main connector. Not sure if this applies to your situation but it might be worth checking out. Here's the part info: Mopar 55056789AC Electric Fan Wiring Harness for 07-18 Jeep Wrangler JK

You'd need to remove the broadband card from inside the radio head unit to disable Jeeps spyware. 🤪 Of course this would also disable forced over the air updates and would probably break other features of the uconnect system.
