I have always went to larger calipers with more pistons when I used larger tires and wheels on my Harleys. Dobyou upgrade the brakes for the heavier tires?
If I go with a 2.5 stage 3, can I use the same arms and jump up to a 4.5 stage 4 by changing springs and adding the rear lower arms. I will go to 37s when I re-gear I also plan to change steering knuckles when the gears are done.
Any argument to go with 37s and wait on the gears for a while.
Want 3 to 3.5 inches, they are all about the same price for a mid arm kit with all of the arms. The only exception is the evo would be a stage 3 overland. This keeps the price at close to 3k. I will do the install with the help of some jeep people who have done several. They say metalcloak...
OK, I have decided on Evo 2.5 or 3.5 stage 3. I will run the abilstein 5100 and see how I like them. I have them on my F250 withb35s.
What backspace will I need for a 17x8.5 or 9. 10 would be absolute max wheel width and I would have to be in love with that design.
