My group switched from the cheap handheld GMRS to cheap handheld ham radios. We even started to use them when we’re hauling campers or RV’s on the highway too, easier and quicker than using cell phones

Is it possible you bought a Dana 44 from the front of a Gladiator truck? The Gladiator has the same front suspension as the Wrangler. The number stamped in the cover shows it’s a D44 based on a Google search.
The front axles on the gladiator were D44 and the non-Rubicon models wouldn’t have...

Not sure who if any make a one piece axle shaft for that side. The factory inner axle shaft seemed pretty beefy when I had mine apart. I haven’t heard of anyone breaking one yet either
