Everyone makes fun of the XJ guys but these look great on a set of 33's.

I’ve always liked XJs - stock, lightly modified, or fully built up. Really good sweet spot for wheelbase too when your only other option was the TJ at the time.

Unfortunately, here in the rust belt, these have not fared well over the years. Most are clapped out shitboxes at this point

I had one and wish I would have kept it but, as you say in a rust belt they were like magnets to rust and it wasn't surface rust.
seems like what started as a small spot spread like a weed in a short period of time
