Caught the Bug
Now that the Gladiator is coming out with a 392 Hemi (not sure what year) you can buy it already "done" - this info coming from the recent Roadkill Nights that was confirmed 100%. (check out Youtube TK's Garage) But theres been wild speculation on what the cost will be. Not many people are interested or could afford in a $100K+ truck. Would I LOVE a Hemi Gladiator? YOU BET!!!

But here's the biggest problem I see - Like most of you, I have a lot of $$$ into my current build I don't want to start over again buying a new 392 Gladiator. I assume a lot of people will feel the same way.

The other problem is the Wrangler owners who paid $100K+ for a 392 will be (rightfully so) pissed off, cannot blame them. Dodge has a new Charger or challenger (not sure of the model) that will have a 392 Hemi for $59K. I cannot see why or how a truck with a 392 can cost $40K more....except consumer demand.

I agree, but i guess you dont watch Youtube channels like TK's Garage.....the guy has been Correct like 99% of the time when he comes out with predictions from his insiders at Dodge/Jeep/ Chrysler. They announced to the public on his video at Roadkill nights the Gladiator will come out with a 392 Hemi in the future.

LOL - right, because there's no way I'd have any personal friends at Jeep and could only get "insider" info from a guy on YouTube.

Not sure there is much consumer demand given that the truck is already not selling. The Gladiator would need lots of changes in order to be what people want it to be. The towing capacity would need to be improved significantly by fixing the frame/chassis design and a more capable cooling system. The 392 would add much more challenge to the cooling system design. Many people would be much more satisfied with an IFS design for what they use a truck for (driving fast), and without the off-road proven solid-axle Wrangler suspension, what would be the point of a 392 Gladiator?

There are other existing trucks which blow the Gladiator out of the water in the "sport truck" category, and other trucks which are already much better for towing, or carrying loads.

Hey, believe what you wanna believe, no problem. I've been watching his channel for a while. He does have the contacts. I guess we'll see in the future what happens. He's also personal friends with Tim Kinikis...are you? His channel is way bigger than yours. Not attacking you, just saying...maybe, just maybe this guy is right.

Funny how all the YouTube experts didn't know about all this back when the final edition 392 was announced or the final final edition or the final final final edition. If I recall, they were the same experts that were telling us to buy one now while you still could. Boy were they ever right.
