392s

I'm curious for those of you who have 392s, do you like 'em? I saw that Brad from TrailRecon got rid of his awhile back. How has your experience been?

I had one wasn’t a fan of the T-case. Fun to drive but I believe bigger tires and lift if you used it axles and T-case would be short lived.
My LT-1 Jk on 1 tons would out run it in a drag race and it wasn’t as expensive to build.

I get it, you want to show off your new ride but you’re kidding yourself if you think that thing is a better out of the box 4x4 than a 392 wrangler.
I didn't say it was a better offroad rig...it's not...just a 4x4. I have a 392 for comparison...

I love the 392 for a lot of different reasons, but agree it needs a good amount of work to be truly rock worthy/reliable with big tries but doesn’t mean you can’t, and just crusing around on easy trails and road it’s wins every time. I got a good deal on mine, but also saw a new one on the showroom floor the other day for 115k 😂

I'm seeing them used with fairly low milage in the $60s.
