The Original Smartass
Well, I was shopping the inter webs for parts for my other flat fender and found this not far from Eddie’s place in Nevada.
1941 Willys Slat grill, number 13,489 off the assembly line. These were built prior to Ford getting the contract. It’s really one of my Holy Grail jeeps I’ve always wanted.
It has not ran in years, but I bet I get it going this weekend. I’ll be updating the thread as I learn the history.
It’s titled in California and spent most of its life in SoCal, so maybe it’s from one of the bases.
Ford Engine (should not have)
Later model tub in 42 or so.
Frame vin matches the title. 113489
Combat Rims, also came after 42.
It came with a super clean bantam trailer. (Thanks Eddie and Cindy
