They are interchangeable as far as bolting them in. As for functionality, it’s only a guess, but the wiring is most likely in the harness. However, if you don’t have those features, heated seats for example, the buttons won’t activate them.

I need to turn on the heated seats. There is a wire for this under the seat. What will I need to work with?

If it’s the wire for the heated seat feature, and not the air bag sensor, then the new unit may work.
