As soon as I get my hard top suspension system installed in my garage, I’ll be ready to put on the soft top. Excited … and a little anxious. Probably overthinking it.
The soft top came in 2 large boxes, and I read that I should expect somewhere between 4-6 hours to assemble and install. No big deal. I’ve put together my fair share of IKEA furniture, and I don’t read Swedish.
My anxiety stems from some installation steps mentioning very specific ft/lbs to attach parts along with lots of “do not over tighten” warnings. I have a basic torque wrench (plus the one which came with my Jeep) and the various bits needed (6 different sizes), but should I consider snagging “better” torque wrench which can be dialed in?
