What was done to your rig this week?

Just ditch that muffler altogether… šŸ˜
I dunno, I really like the sound of the factory muffler and kinda hate what it sounds like without it. Yeah, I've done it and still have it on my Gladiator but really really hate it.
To both comments. Tell us your age without telling us your age. Lol

I agree with Eddie though.

Installed TerraFlex 1.5" Leveling Kit on JT Sport S Diesel

I won't bore everyone with all the details, as this installation has been the subject of numerous posts and videos over the last 5 years or so, but I did run into one self-inflicted issue; if you are doing this install on the ground, be sure to follow all of the steps in the TerraFlex instructions. I didn't loosen the front control arm bolts or remove the track bar bolt next to the passenger side sway bar disconnect, making it almost impossible to secure the bump stop spacer on that side. The kit includes a stamped steel nut wrench that eventually saved the day when I was finally able to hold it in place with tension from the sway bar bolt. It took twice as long to do the installation than if I had followed the printed instructions.

That being said, or written, I'm pleased with the results. Before the install, my new 315/R70/17 Nitto Terra G3's, which measure 33.25" tall, had about 3.25" of clearance to the bottom of the fender and now it's about 5" when measured at the same spot on level ground. A little tweak with the Z Automotive JL Taxer Lite corrected the speedometer for the larger tires and I'm good to go. Well not quite; now everyone is flashing me at night and not in a good way, so a headlight adjustment is in the very near future along with some Rubicon spec fenders for even more clearance.

Replaced my 35 Grabber ATX's and since they don't make them in a 37 with 17" rim, went with the BFG AT KO2's . 37x12.50R17's. These are load range D vs the Grabbers that were E. Seems to ride a bit better. Time will tell. The Grabbers got 55K miles on them and still had some tread to go.
Discount tire matched the Mopar buy 3 get 1 for $1 and gave me an extra 5% off and threw in the certificates. Couldn't pass it up even though I still had probably another 5K left on the Grabbers.
